almost as good as the original

The sergeant wants to marry the midwife, but the priest tries to dissuade him because she has a child by another man. Meanwhile, Maria has to say goodbye to her new love because he is temporarily transferred. Maria is then forced to work for the sergeant, which results in gossip in the village.A little less than the first part, but certainly still worth watching, this time false gossip drives the two newlyweds apart.Gina lollobrigida again provides the necessary emotional outbursts and sharp remarks, of which the sergeant usually falls victim.For the rest, just a nice, smooth comedy with some dramatic moments.
