Plot summary

Taylor and his surfer buddies think they have struck gold when he inherits a Pacific Palisades mansion by the beach. But dreams of days spent riding waves and chasing girls come crashing down when they discover the mansion is haunted by the ghost of a 1930's starlet, sending them on a quest for retribution. Finding heart inside horror, they set out on a mission to seek justice for the Ghost Babe.

Nice production in a pointless waste

Thanks to this movie I learned that while a plastic skag is fine for some people, the totally rad among us will use carbon fiber because it just so tubular bitchen and apparently capable of better penetration. That is sadly not near as much fun as it seems, much like this movie. Filmed at a house I'd like to see, on grounds that seemed interesting, with a bar and then a beach that looked like fun. Also heard about a Cadillac margarita, a drink that's new to me. Was that worth the time spent here? Hardly. Nice surf scenes that were just pointless. The bar scenes were, oh hell, this movie is pointless. Nice production values, adequate acting but just a rambling mess of a meandering waste.

Trust the Negatives!

Believe me. ANYONE rating this more than 3 stars has something to do with this "film."The description sounded great. It started off really good. And then Thelma dies, we fast forward to current year and ... it all goes down hill from there.The guys are thirty something year old surfer wannabes. That, in and of itself should be enough reason to forgo this. But that one dude... the bearded guy... OH. MY. GOSH. For starters, he cannot go anywhere without skipping and dancing. Like, AT ALL. The other two guys, while annoying, are still better than him.The girl, while attractive, is older looking than you would expect for a 1930's starlet. As a ghost, she's just annoying. In corporeal form, she's not too bad.Like I said, the story itself could have been really good, if it wasn't apparently written by a couple of film school dropouts. It was a good premise completely ruined by by writing.And do not get me started on the "dmtina" band... oh good grief...Save yourself the wasted time.

Worn, tired surfer ghost love story?

Well, these three surfer dude buddies hang and "rock the day." One somehow inherits a house. Said house has a history of violence, and one femme fatale ghost. And there is a mystery about the ghost and her death and her love. Now to go about this, let's hang, surf, and get to know one another.Boring largely. Basic dumb surfer characters left me distracted as I found things to dust where I sat. Oh, and love is in the air. With a ghost.Poor production generally. Poor acting. Poor writing. A few nice bodies to see in shorts and bathing suits. Characters are at least nice, so you care minimally about the plot and what happens. Not scary and not funny. Too bad.
