Plot summary

When a marine research vessel explores unusual shark activity in the Gulf of Mexico, they discover the horrifying truth behind an island legend. In this spine-chilling thriller, the pressure increases with each dive. From two thousand feet below the sea, where rare sharks attack their submersible, to night dives within a shark feeding frenzy, to unexpected twists that will leave viewers breathless. With the marine vessel slowly sinking, ghost divers surrounding them, and mounting animosity amongst the crew, each moment is increasingly intense, and every gulp of air may be their last.

That's a hard pass...

Right, well without ever having heard about the 2025 movie "Ghost Divers", as I stumbled upon it by random luck here in 2026, I opted to watch it solely because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen.The storyline and narrative in the movie was a massive swing and a miss, and it utterly failed to entertain me. I seriously didn't really understand what the purpose was with the narrative that Mark Clark penned down for the movie. I gave up and tossed the towel in the ring after an excruciating painful and boring 52 minutes of torment.One thing that worked in favor of the movie was the fact that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. I do enjoy watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were fair, but nothing outstanding.If this was supposed to be a shark movie, it was most definitely not a great one.Now, I would not recommend you to sit down and waste 108 minutes on watching this movie, as it just simply wasn't worth the effort.My rating of writer and director Mark Clark's 2025 movie "Ghost Divers" lands on a very generous two out of ten stars.
