It was a fair enough thriller...

Granted, while I had indeed never heard about this 2025 thriller titled "Gina", from director Derrick Hammond, I still opted to give it a fair chance, as I stumbled upon it by random chance here in 2026.Writer Vernon Williams III put together an enjoyable and entertaining script and storyline. I was adequately entertained by the contents in the movie. So thumbs up to writer Vernon Williams III for that accomplishment. The storyline is nicely written and constructed, making it an enjoyable movie to sit through. And the character gallery and dialogue was also good, which helped bring the movie to life.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Not that it was a bad thing, not at all. Because I do enjoy watching unfamiliar and new talents on the screen. The acting performances in the movie were fair."Gina" is a watchable thriller, for sure, but it is hardly a movie that warrants more than a single viewing.My rating of director Derrick Hammond's 2025 thriller "Gina" lands on a five out of ten stars.
