Great Film with a Great Twist

It's not too often that a film comes along and delivers not just gripping suspense and propulsive momentum, but also a genuinely surprising twist that keeps you on your toes. Grace Point does exactly that, crafting a story that is both engaging and emotionally resonant.What truly sets Grace Point apart is its heart. The film carries a message that is not only uplifting and inspiring but also deeply relevant in today's world. It's a story about redemption, the power of second chances, and the importance of accepting help - even when it's the hardest thing to do. On top of that, it reminds us of the power of the human spirit and what's possible if we push ourselves beyond what we think we're capable of.Seeing Andrew McCarthy back on screen was a welcome treat, bringing a seasoned presence to the film. The rest of the cast delivers solid performances, making their characters feel real and grounded. Rob Lowe's son, who takes on the lead role, does an impressive job portraying an addict struggling to come to terms with his reality. His performance is layered and convincing, capturing the inner conflict of someone who needs help but isn't quite ready to embrace it. He also brings a convincing physicality to the role as someone on the run who has clearly never been on the run or had to do this much physical stuff ever in his life.Overall, Grace Point is a compelling watch. It blends suspense, drama, and a heartfelt message in a way that feels both entertaining and meaningful. I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Good but needed a better script

I was surprised how much I liked this because I went in expecting nothing and wasn't even sure what it was about. I won't give anything away , but the idea behind the plot was an original one, problem is the script itself could have been better. Some conversations just did not come across as realistic. Genuinely suspenseful, it was very well acted and John Owen Lowe was excellent in the lead, in fact a better actor than his famous father. It was very well shot, never boring and the most fascinating part of it is that you will think you are watching a particular kind of thriller and the twist and turns in the plot will lead you off in another direction entirely. Very well done. The ratings on this are way too low.
