Heartbeat is something I'm not too sure about

Recently there has been a string of murders that may be related to the cutthroat world of corporate affairs so a charming but violent detective tries to get her help in cracking the case. She reluctantly agrees but doesn't realize that she has put herself in the path of a deranged killer.Review: There is such a steep drop off in acting ability between the very strong lead actress (Nicole D'Angelo) and literally everyone else that you have to think that the supporting characters were brought in as favors to the producers or something similar. The story isn't half bad and, as mentioned before Fah gag carries the movie but she can't keep this thing floating for too long.

Gregory Hatanaka has built a real cult following from the type of films he's makes so I'm not surprised by the mixed reviews on here. Regardless of what anyone thinks - It's a good suspenseful film with plenty of twists and turns. Give it a go and you might be impressed by this gem of a film.
