Plot summary

A man is thrown into fatherhood unexpectedly when his daughter is suddenly dropped off at his New England apple farm. He was never told he had a daughter until her mother's death. After 16 years, the girl and her father will try to build a relationship. The girl will need her father's love, and her broken heart will need a horse.

Atrocious acting, bad cinematography, horrible screenplay

This movie was painfully awful to watch. The acting is forced and amateurish, particularly the performance by the writer/director. I've seen better acting at high school stage productions. The script meanders and drags along, taking its time then suddenly fast forwards a year. Some scenes go on for far too long. The direction and cinematography is also very amateurish - eye lines rarely match up when cutting from shot to shot. The music often feels completely out of place, too. The movie runs just under 90 minutes, but feels like at least twice that length. Avoid this at all costs. I am not joking.

Not even the horses could save this film!

I'm not sure if this was a home video, amateur actor promo film, but it certainly felt like it! The script and performances were so bad, it felt like an amateur dramatic society's B cast. It had so much potential but sadly the horses and scenery couldn't improve the film. I am surprised such dross was on prime to be honest.If you like good films avoid this dross if you can, if not, turn the sound off and enjoy the scenery because that's by far the most enjoyable part of the film. The horses were decent actors, maybe the casting directors and screenwriters should find other employment, better suited to their talents.

Brain-meltingly awful

I work at a group home and this....... thing came on automatically after the residents finished watching another movie. After a few minutes, we changed the movie because we just couldn't take it. Everything about this pile of horse manure is awful. Woman dies and her sister drops her daughter off with the father who never even knew he had a daughter because "she needs her father now". She doesn't freaking know him! How is that better than family she actually knows? He could be a serial killer and you just drop your neice on his doorstep. The acting reached new depths of atrocity. Could this thing have gotten better if I had watched it through? It's not impossible, but highly improbable. Save yourselves the pain and pass on this train wreck.
