Compared to commercial TV...

Is a slam dunk. If someone would tell me, I would spend 2 1/2 hours sitting in my fart chair watching a movie about something I when I was entranced by when I was in a 12-year-old I would tell them get yourself another drink and get me one too it ain't gonna happen.Boy did I lose this bet especially after earlier in the day stumbling across Crazy Let's the Elroy Hirsch docudrama TMC that was a fantastic movie as well.Doing these two movies on the same day was actually a Christmas present to me for being retired. They were both very very true to life from what I remembered about Elroy and the one about the bubblegum cards broke my heart, cause I sold mine from nickels and dimes, but evidently people have a appetite for this and sadly other people have an appetite for greed and how do we tell the difference the movie tries to tell you it's subjective and it probably is anyway thank you guys for giving me a chance to express my feelings and maybe somebody else will enjoy the movie as much as I did. It's a ten.

Best movie for this subject matter

Hobby Hustle covers many aspects of the hobby. Very well shot and the stories kept me intrigued the whole time. I wonder if the director will make a sequel?? There are so many angles one could take with this hobby. Michael Dault decided to cover three stories with smaller side stories woven throughout. Cliff Panezich and Operation Stolen Base shoes the dark side of the hobby. Karl Kissner and the Black Swamp Find will tug at your heart strings and Luke Kooy and his goal to start his own sports hobby store make this film worthwhile!With how long the film is, I wonder if Dault was thinking about it as a series originally. The part about PSA & JSA and grading in general could be an episode in itself. The power these companies have over the hobby is insane!Well worth your time. And an important documentary that covers things other types of docs like this don't.
