A coming of age film about a young man meets a psychopath grandmom during holiday breaks in Hawaii. This film attempted to execute itself in the romantic, artsy way, but unfortunately, the script somehow didn't feel right. Just plain weird..There are quite a number of characters introduced in the movie. And while, of course, they all have their own unique charms, but their stories seemed didn't really matter in the end.Because the core of this story was just about the strange relationship between the Honokaa boy and this fatal attraction-ish old lady. Plus, also my favorite Yu Aoi only showed up in this movie for like 10 seconds, which is a bummer.Perhaps, what I liked most about it this movie was the cinematography and the overall art direction which were absolutely gorgeous.
