Clearly, this is not a film to watch if you know nothing about the "Monogatari" universe.

Perhaps I went into this movie with high expectations, knowing it was among the top-rated films on several platforms. However, I didn't find it completely satisfying. It's true that my experience with the "Monogatari" franchise is quite limited, I know, but I believe a film should stand on its own to be considered good or not.We have a bit of gore, a bit of ecchi, some interesting fights, but little development compared to what one would expect. The CGI hasn't aged well, although the animation looks very fluid and excellent.I suppose I should be more cautious next time when starting a franchise from scratch. We'll see how the other two films are; now I'm in the game...

The BEST animation style I've seen!

Kizumonogatari part 1 tekketsu received great interest from viewers in the anime world. This film offers Monogatari series fans an in-depth look into the past of their favorite characters. With its dark and mysterious atmosphere, impressive visual design, and character development, this production captivates its audience. Araragi Koyomi's encounter with vampires and his inner conflicts during this process add depth to the story. In this first part of Kizumonogatari, viewers witness both action-packed scenes and emotional moments. The animation style is unique and visually stunning. The plot was a little on the weird side but the animation makes for it.
