There some good things to say about this movie

The camera work is quite professional and there is some nice scenery. But that ends the good things about the movie. A few times, the soundtrack simply blasts out very loud. Kay Hall is with a group of young women on a guided hike to a peak. The peak has some strange disappearances, and one, a Barb Valentine, disappeared. Everything she had with her was present, just not her and she was never found. Her husband is not going to give up trying to find her. Kay wanders off, and spots a strange thing, apparently a Sooka. Just when the group seemed to be missing a person, she shows up. She gets into her car, and seems to turn into Barb Valentine, looking exactly like her, and goes back to Barb's home and it seems she is her. Oh, one might think the movie is French, due to the smoking on screen. Kay/Barb has turned into a monster hunter. The real problem is the movie is so confusing and such a mess it not only is hard to keep up with what is presented, it is also hard to care. Shape shifting, other-world portals and who is who.

Very odd film

Rarely do i ask myself "what the F was that" after watching a movie, but here we are.A Cryptozoologist Barb Valentine goes missing. Next we go to a all female day hiking trip, Kay Hall strays from the group, encounters a Cryptid, returns from the woods as Barb Valentine? So next we go on a trek to find the Cryptid, Kay/Barb goes from town to town, getting drunk and stoned? This is so weird it makes you wonder what where they thinking? Heavy drinking durring production?Yeah, the writing is that bad. The story is extremely vague, leaving it all up to personal interpetation, aka lazy incomplete writing. Good thing is Chole Pirrie's performance. A beautiful talented lady that really saves this movie. Had another ctress played the lead role, you wouldn't have heard of Kryptic.Humor - 2 full frontal nude scences of unattractive men. One fat, the other a 5ft Dobby look alike! ? Maybe thats a Canadian thing? Now i know how women feel when a unattractive woman does a topless scene!Now, want to play something while shopping online or texting? Here it is. No real storyline, so you wont miss anything, however look up on ocassion to check out Chloe.

This Film is a sad Case

The first 30 minutes of this movie will really captivate your attention. You'll be asking so many questions about "How, why, where when" etc.I genuinely liked the movie up to a certain point, but then the movie just seems to lose itself and a lot of steam. Its hard to tell whether this was supposed to be ONE entire film or an anthology.This movie seems to be a sexually charged, roles are reversed, weird movie, where the writer AND producer wanted you to see the World through a lens where the norm is trash and must die, and the weird (un-colourful) reigns supreme in sex, flesh & death and must remain together because they are somehow special and different.The main issue here, is that within their race for pushing this agenda, the movie (which could have been good) just becomes a mess of ideas where a group of weirdos are trying to portray themselves as heroes to some lost sexual cause.The ending is just a VERY BAD take on the "Triangle" movie from 2009. All very pointless and not explained well enough. This movie could easily have been better with just a LITTLE bit more explaining of the Beast/monster, and how ONE character becomes another etc.I think this film was a wasted opportunity at doing a legit Horror movie. A movie like this probably wouldn't have seen the time of day if it was just a standard Drama.
