This is an important story given the sexual abuse of adolescent boys by women is more common then most people realize. Although this film has its faults, as already mentioned by other reviews, one of it's strengths is conveying so clearly the experience of the abused, especially the psycho-emotional confusion and post abuse sense of betrayal. And by having the character of the female abuser being a lawyer emphasizes all the more this betrayal of authority.

To speak to a obvious weakness in the film, the actor that portrayed the abused boy lacked the talent to convey the emotions typically experienced in adolescence and sexual abuse. And his complete lack of experience smoking cigarettes was so very distracting.
