Better than expected

Watch the movie for yourself. Don't skip this one based on the 5.9 score. It was a funny, raunchy, comedy that wasn't trying to lecture it's audience. I had some laugh out loud moments that I don't get anymore with other current comedies.Stavros was a confident and fun lead man. He wasn't ashamed to bare it all hahaha. A lot of these reviews are critiquing this movie like it was supposed to be the godfather and the movie knows what it is. It's a sit-down, eat something, and forget about your day type of movie. It's not a serious project and I believe the director is aware of that. Overall it's a good comedy with an original premise.

Refreshing Comedy In A Comedy Desert

Comedy movies are in a sad state and Let's Start A Cult is a breath of fresh air. It's not at the level of a lot of great comedies but Stavy carries this film and 90% of it is quite good. There are a few scenes where the acting is pretty questionable and a few pieces of the story could have been fleshed out a bit better but overall it really highlights the strength of Stavros as an actor and his ability to carry with his personality. There are very few movies I'd just throw on and rewatch after seeing them and this is one of them. I'd love to see more from this group and hope it made enough money to justify it.
