Was really rough, HOWEVER...

I'm giving it a 5/10 because the main characters are a legit family, and while the acting was super amateur, there were a good amount of long non-cut scenes where the kids have to stay in their character together for a good long amount of time and not flub the scene/forget lines and that was very impressive. Most adults can't do that in general.But the overall film was poorly written and very poorly acted (the adults, not the kids. The kids are just being kids I can't knock them for that).But it was a little over an hour so I chose to commit till the end.That being said, it's not easy to make a film, much less one that revolves around two young kids who are your own and are in the majority of the scenes where fear and negative tone is present.So the rating... I'll put them at the halfway rating point with 5/10 stars.We all start somewhere with our interests and they can only get better, so to Shawn Robinson (writer/director), start working on your next!
