Missed opportunity.

This could have been a good movie

It was actually enjoyable at the start. The cinematography was decent and the shots of the lookout and the woods was great. Halfway through it seems like the writer had something else to do and asked his twelve year old brother to take over writing the script. It went from 'that's interesting' to 'that's stupid' really quick.Two examples... 1) Where did Roy go? He just disappears and is completely forgotten about.2) After two rangers come and find a dead man with an axe sticking out of him they walk up to the top of the lookout tower and take time out to enjoy the sunset.

A decent idea that just wasn't exciting or unique...A woman in the wild up against something sinister. The acting was ok, but the entire movie felt like a low budget movie that was trying to be something more...the ending was very much predictable and there were no answers to anything,,,she sure wore a lot of make up though!!
