Louis's is a genious artist

Where do I even start? Louis is without a doubt a genius comedian/writer, and watching him always feels like "How the hell did he come up with this stuff". On top of that, his acting, body language and impressions down to the tiniest details feel like they have been brilliantly engineered to not only make you laugh but to also make you truly enjoy his art.I am a stressed student living in Germany (but not from Germany) and my life has always felt a little lost and not in a way I could ever explain, but recently I watched the whole Louie series, and it felt like such a nice hug from a childhood friend that you haven't seen in 20 years. I never quite understood how people could be a real "fan" of someone and watch everything they did, but I have been watching and rewatching Louis's specials over and over again, and I finally got it. It is really like looking at a beautiful painting and feeling many things that you cannot explain (and maybe shouldn't. Art is meant to be felt in the first place), and when you look at the same painting again, you can still feel the same things. Louis's art has that effect on me, and this special captured just that. Toped with this nice feeling when you see how an artist developed over the years, which itself is also art. So thank you, Louis. From all of my heart.(sorry for my bad English, not a native)

As good as some

So I have followed Louie and his stand up since 2008, and I can say, this one, while very edgy and cringe, fails to reach the same comedy standards he had shown before. Louie talks about serious issues, as always, with very dark, maybe the darkest ones so far, twists. He may have reached that age when he just doesn't censor himself at all anymore, and just brings out the heaviest cingiest jokes out of the bag. While I see this a positive, I think he had done shows in which I experienced huge amounts of bursting into laughter, almost hystrically. I'm not saying this is a bad show, I'm just saying he's done better one in the past.
