Try rich, get dying

No pun intended - the saying is a bit tweaked for purposes I needed it to be. This talks or rather has more than one story - so the focus is on multiple people and fates ... as you can tell not all with a happy end.On the other hand, the question is what is a happy ending? Well for one not a dirty or pun meant here. The acting is nice, the stories are short enough. The predictability is quite high to say the least. We do come around and ... well round out the very first story and characters. I've seen a better lottery winner drama (thriller, dark comedy) this year ... so this had to compare to that ... and it was not in its favor.Still this is decent enough - and there is fun to be had ... just suspend your disbelief and go with the flow.

Is it good to be a winner, or a loser? Good question.

A comedy? Hmmm...Not that much or in the Cohen or Tarantino's style. I usually dislike comedies, especially French comedies, but this one is really worth the look. It is funny, inventive, brilliant, bloody too - yes, bloody - always surprising. Several different stories, several segments showing people who have won at the Loto - sweepstake - but who actually get many troubles in exchange. The first segment is shown before the opening credits. This scheme should have been spoken about far earlier. Anyway, I have never heard of anything of this kind. This story doesn't give you any envy to win the Loto bullion. But don't worry, you have one chance out of several millions to win. So, I think it's better to be a loser.
