Entertaining.

My Rating : 5/10Great little Bollywood rom-com when you want to watch something easy and light-hearted.Pankaj Tripathi is so perfect in this role. Kriti Sanon and Karthik Aaryan give good performances and look like a good on-screen pair.Nice one team!

Movie humour is more situational than slapstick..!

Luka Chuppi stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead with Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak, Aparshakti Khurana and others.fans have been buzzing about the scintillating on-screen chemistry between Kartik and Kriti. The songs too, especially the remake of '90's song - Poster Lagwa Do, has become a fan favourite.The humour element in the film lands on point every now and then. And the best part, the humour is more situational than slapstick.Luka Chuppi explores the story of a young couple who wanted to try being in a 'live-in relationship' before getting married.what really makes 'Luka Chuppi' an entertaining watch is the nuanced writing by Rohan Ghoge and its execution. The first half is swift and packed with funny moments that end in an unpredictable twist. The second half too, is marked by quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. At some point, the humour becomes repetitive, but it's the short run-time that comes to the film's rescue. Film's two most popular songs (Coca-Cola & Poster) are thrown in at the end, during the credit roll.Overall, 'Luka Chuppi' is a fun ride that never gets too preachy or uncomfortable for the family audience. It's a clean entertainer with a message that's not too loud, but clear, for sure.

Short review

A complete fun filled entertainer. The comedy is on point. Even though there are a lot of scenes which are common in these types of movies this one stands unique since it has a message. The first half is inspired by PYAAR PREMA KAADHAL, but they have improvised it and made it much better, the cliché ending could have been changed. The direction and screenplay is ok. Nothing special. The songs in the movie are worth mentioning,it set the mood right throughout the movie. The cast is wonderful. Every role done perfectly. The basic story aint new, but the added comedy and fun makes it special. Overall a good movie
