Affecting

Very unique outlook on the Troubles which is really intellectually engaging. Why is there an acceptance of one oppressive force but not of another? Maeve contemplates on humanity's opportunity to destroy all oppression through revolution if only more voices were heard and taken seriously. A deeply affecting and shrewd film.

An interesting little seen social document of growing up in Belfast through the troubles

A young woman (Mary Jackson) returns to Belfast during the Troubles after being away for a few years and finds herself caught in the middle of family problems amidst the city's devastation.

A little seen film that also makes for a strong social document of the hardships of living through the Troubles. An interesting drama, if a little convoluted in places.
