A negligent crotch

It's straightforward just like the striking look of Daisy. Annette's hidden trauma was visualized smartly through celever writing, impactful visuals and audio effects. Story may mislead and distract yet the twist is pretty simple and amusing. Flawless acting by Shazad. It's a great story to pass time remind ourselves of how devoted women are the beating heart of our households.

The Husband You'll Love to Hate

It was difficult to watch such a seemingly kind, loving, and devoted mother be so blatantly disrespected by her husband. That said-credit where it's due-the actor playing him nailed it, because I absolutely hated him.The acting overall was good, and while the show had its tense, infuriating moments, I was satisfied to see that karma doesn't totally take a day off. There were a few twists I didn't fully see coming, which kept me invested.Definitely worth watching, just know, you'll be infuriated by the husband!

A slow burn but good!

Magpie is a great showcase of Daisy Ridley's acting chops. She shows here that she can tackle a serious and complicated role outside of the Star Wars universe. The movie's premise is about a family's young daughter who is an actress who is starring along side a very popular actresss. The husband of the family starts to be infatuated with the actress and descends with being unfaithful to his wife who is played by Daisy Ridley. There is a little bit of cat and mouse game that is played here to effect and it's a slow burn. Magpie might not be for everyone who is looking for a fast paced thriller. Magpie gets a solid 7 stars out of 10 from me.
