A modern "The Hidden" but found footage

Because of course it is found footage. It is a cheaper way to shoot horror, and it has taken root. This production does it well, and mixes some fun practical effects with digital ones, often obscured partially by grainy "footage" so that you cannot see where the seams are not matching. The story is compelling, the narrative works, the characters are good enough for what this is. Is is far from flawless, but it is worth a watch, for sure, if you liked The Hidden, and similar things.

a nice creepy pasta

A man discovers a strange tape that leads him into a creepy mystery. The eerie sounds and found-footage style build strong tension, and some moments feel very real. A few scenes drag and some clues are unclear, but the growing fear and unsettling twists keep it interesting to watch. Lost the sauce a few times with the crazy plot.

For Found Footage Lovers

The pace of the film was perfect, the acting was good. I love found footage so I'm so glad I gave this a chance. It was normal and eerie to start, then got full on disgusting by the climax. It looked wildly realistic too, got me good. It's definitely worth a watch. I won't be surprised if we get a continuation further down the line. Whether it's a prequel or a sequel.
