For a low budget tubi movie, it's pretty solid

After slogging through a mountain of low-budget garbage on Tubi, this film earns what I'd call the "Almost a Real Movie" award. The dialogue is really awful, and some plot points don't make much sense (what judge wouldn't take her side if she went to the police from the start?). But you can actually follow the story, and the characters are likable enough to root for. That might not sound like a lot, but you'll know that's a surprisingly rare feat if you have watched a few Tubi originals. Don't watch it and expect Citizen Kane, but I was very impressed with what the director was able to do with so little.
