Stylish but vapid

Very different

I watched this movie resisting the temptations to check the reviews before .I was curious what score it would get.Surprised to see it's rated at 5.7 I guess This is a movie not for everyone's cup of tea.Personally, I liked it because it's very different to other fantasy movies. It's a potential cult movie .However, the story is developing a little slow.On the other hand, casting is very good.Music, décors are wonderful.I guess to enjoy this movie, you need to look into your inner romantic side and feel for "Gaspard" who is falling in love with this beautiful mermaid.Impossible love?Most of the outdoor scenes are at night which gives a special character to the story.
