Plot summary

Follows Jacquie Liddle as she and Tyler try to plan their perfect destination Christmas wedding. Naturally, Jacquie’s plans go awry when her boisterous family intervenes in her planning and her snooty wedding planner quits in protest. While nothing goes as initially planned, Jacquie and Tyler get a Christmas wedding more memorable than they could have ever dreamed.

Cute story, subpar supporting characters

This film has a cute storyline and there are some heartwarming moments throughout... I couldn't rate it higher because, outside of the main characters storyline, the other characters seem to lack any kind of significance to the story (except Kiara - Jacquie's sister). There are also some points in the movie where the continuity is lost and characters discussions don't seem to flow at all. It had the potential to be great, but those few details made a big difference in the end for me. Most likely I'll never watch it again.

Justifiable sistercide?

Family. You can't live with them and you can't live without them. And sometimes you want to get rid of them. There are a lot of family members and sometimes it's a little chaotic.This is a nice movie about Jacque's family, mostly her sister Kiara, totally messing up her wedding, repeatedly. I'm not usually a fan of this kind of humor, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie.There is a song and dance routine that somehow is simultaneously racy and cute to the song Santa Baby.The outcome is perfect and a little bit crazy.
