It's not a horror, but still a very good movie

Positives: Very good acting, beautiful cinematography, interesting city scapes, special effects done very good. Morbid and kind of grotesque esthetic, a little clever, dark humor and irony.Negatives: Ending was a little weak, movie rather for troubled teens or YA, some characters were poorly written, but the negatives are minor, for me (even I was probably not the intended audience) it's 7/10.The movie reminded me a little of Romero's Martin or Vampires Kiss with Nick Cage in a way that the audience and even the characters don't know if supernatural events are imaginary or real. Are there vampires, undead, monsters?But this movie is not a horror in a typical way, if you are looking for a vampire flick or vampire teen romance, or something like that you will be disappointed.

Original debut

What I appreciate the most about this movie is that it has an identity, a personal style, that is different from many other Italian movies. All the plot develops in an original and unexpected way, full of humor and irony and in which the distinction between reality and fiction is labile, but never excessive or unpleasant. The photography is really impressive and I personally found all the splatter scenes quite interesting and well done. I loved all the actor's interpretations and the way they developed the character during the story. In general, it's a well written movie and a beautiful debut film for Brando De Sica. Sorry about the fact that it wasn't very publicise when it came out, probably for its particularity and originality that, in my opinion, are its hallmark.
