Plot summary

On the eve of Y2K, orphaned 12-year-old Beverly discovers a broken mixtape crafted by her teen parents. Raised by her grandmother – who struggles talking about her late daughter – Beverly sees the mixtape as a chance to finally learn more about her parents.

Better than expected

The acting, characters, small things that made me laugh and smile. It just got something. It got a nice, entertaining flow to it.So overall better than what I had expected.

Heart-warming movie!

Watched this feel-good movie with my husband and kids, relaxing, amusing, amazing music, Julie Bowen as grandma maybe in 20 years from now, Nick Thune with some great comedy lines, the trio of teenagers a breath of fresh air.Loved it!
