Plot summary

Mallory's life turns upside-down after her young son, Billy, is drawn to Samantha, a strange woman who whispers to him at the local climbing gym. Billy refuses to reveal what she said, and now he’s acting up, Samantha is spying on her, and her husband, Reese, is behaving like he is hiding a secret from her. Little does Mallory know, because of memory loss, that she kidnapped Billy from his mother years ago.

Huh?

Mommy's Stolen MemoriesI haven't watched it yet, sorry. I like checking out the IMBD before I do. So, I looked it up before I watch it later this evening.There are multiple crew members in several of the departments but NO Costume Designer? No one in the costume/wardrobe department at all?How does that possibly even happen? They blew through the budget and then all of a sudden a big whoops one day at a production meeting....forgot about costumes? Does that mean the actors had to bring suitcases of their own clothes from home? That's usually what Extras have to do, not the principles. Yes, I am a Costume Designer and have been a Wardrobe Assistant many times on many productions. It irks me to no end.

Body Snatchers

Mallory Brooks and her husband Reese are deeply concerned when their little boy Billy is approached by a stranger named Samantha. The 30-year-old woman has approached the child on multiple occasions and has even given him a gift. Understandably, the parents are worried that their child may be kidnapped.The drama is complicated because Mallory is in recovery from having suffered three strokes. After taking a bad fall, she has lost her memory. The film's flashback scenes were effective as fragmentary images from her past began to return to Mallory.It was unfortunate that Linda, the enormously likable best friend of Mallory, became collateral damage in the course of the action. Linda was researching the background of Samantha when she was senselessly murdered.The gloomy atmosphere of the film was underscored by the winter snow on the ground in the outdoor scenes. There was also good dramatic tension evoked as Mallory began to piece together her past.Along with the snow, the excellent performances added to the chilling nature of this thriller with an eerie credibility of a family drama. A sense of doom hovered over the most mundane activities of the Brooks family with a shattering effect, making this film one that is hard to forget.
