Plot summary

A robotics company vying to win a lucrative military contract team up with a corrupt CIA agent to conduct an illegal live field test. They deploy four weaponized prototype robots into a suspected drug manufacturing camp in the Golden Triangle, assuming they'd be killing drug runners that no one would miss. Six doctors on a humanitarian mission witness the brutal slaughter and become prime targets.

quite entertaining overall

Actually not too bad for an action movie. Sure, you'll have to suspend your disbelief a few times, and live with quite a lot of cringe ("I couldn't save them!" style), but other than that... Premise is fresh - autonomous weapons on the battlefield. Here we have a pack of killer robots sent to Cambodian jungle for a navigation-turned-more test. Robots fortunately (for the movie) encounter some resistance, and it is decided that they have to eliminate all witnesses. Rampage starts. Some very good FX, robots move properly unnaturally (or - "naturally" for a robot), they're actually quite scary, you know you would never want to meet them in combat. Human cast isn't so good, unfortunately. Overall, a nice break from the whole pandemic.

Very good movie, too real

I don't understand the bad reviews, I'm critical but I'm was well entertained by this movie. Freaky since we're getting close for this to be a reality. Good acting, solid science realism, good plot. The only stretch is that the robots were slower moving than the humans.
