Plot summary

Through a series of unfortunate events, three mummies end up in present-day London and embark on a wacky and hilarious journey in search of an old ring belonging to the Royal Family, stolen by ambitious archaeologist Lord Carnaby.

Classic WB animated movie with a nod to stargate.

It's heartwarming, adorable, with a hint of romantic comedy with a U rating, aimed at kids so unless the adults have a heart of stone or a dried bandaged husk they will not be bored.It's taking a lot of idea's from disney movies with an interesting modern twist and also a villain that must have been a fan of cruela de vile.You can probs predict most of what happens, fairly light on the dark stuff, good jokes, nice music.Happy ending, sequel potential for more modern hi jinx and while the bad guy is ' killed off ' he could be brought back as a mummy.Well animated, voice acting is pretty good, it's just a nice cute movie !People expecting anything else from a u rated movie need to get a grip and stop trying to be an amatuer film critic.Side note : The inclusion of the stargate was completely unnecessary and could have been done differently but as a star gate fan i loved it, and was done well enough. A nice tribute.

Funny and enjoyable 9/10

You should give this movie a try and don't mind the bad ratings. It has romance, it has entertainment and good music. The villain is funny too: some momma's boy archeologist in his 50s who tries to become famous by capturing mummies.The kids should rate this movie, not the parents. We can clearly see that the parents give low rating for no good reason. I read a review where someone gave 1/10 for the only fact that the voice acting was bad. The voice acting was not bad at all. You can clearly understand and hear what they are saying. It's an animated movie for kids. It had humor and there is no swearing.
