Plot summary

After serving his prison sentence, Dylan wants to cut ties with his past. However, because of an outstanding debt, he is forced into a final break-in at the popular Brasserie Papillon. There he meets the mysterious Margot. Their meeting unintentionally puts each other's fate in their hands. But neither considers Tonio, Papillon's flamboyant waiter. Their paths cross during 1 dramatic night that will change their lives forever.

Pleasant surprise

After reading a negative and rather cynical review in Belgium's magazine "Humo", I decided to give this movie a chance in the cinema. After all, a lot of Humo's review writers/columnists are writing such reviews for the sole purpose of triggering a lot of reactions and going against the grain more than anything else.The movie honestly did not disappoint. I actually thought it was a great movie: unexpected, slow paced story, great cast, nice scenery settings and visually astonishing overall thus very pleasant to the eye.Is it the best Belgium move ever? Probably not. Do I recommend you go see it? Definitely!

They tried

It's just another entry in the genre-nothing new, nothing daring. The plot twist is telegraphed from kilometers away.They rely so heavily on repeating flashbacks that I'm convinced they only filmed half a movie and just looped the rest.The acting has that classic "we're being artistic, right?" energy, which ends up feeling pretentious from most of the leads.Cary Goossens, though-spot on. Absolutely nailed it.
