Plot summary

After Brooke and her boyfriend Lance have a car accident, Lance’s leg injury requires him to be bedridden with at-home care. When an attractive nurse, Chloe, is recommended to them, she seems perfect for the task. However, when her troubled past comes to light, it becomes apparent to the happy couple that someone is out to destroy their lives.

The other Butler

No pun intended with my summary line above. And I have to admit, I am a bit of a sucker when it comes to Sarah Butler. I could not imagine wanting someone else, if you were her significant other. Espcially when she is as cool as her character here. Of course even her character is not without flaws.But can you blame her, after what happens with and to her boyfriend? Not really I'd say - but as with other movies/thrillers of this kind, you probably can guess who the culprit is and what their motivation is. So no brownie points for you, for guessing it right. Still if you are either a sucker like I am or just want an easy to digest thriller of the week kind of thing, there are worse options out there.

Really not that bad!

Is this an Oscar-worthy film? Not by a long shot. Is it the worst film to ever be made? Not by a long shot. It's just, mediocre. It's not bad, and it's not good. The acting is amateur, the cinematography and editing are not up to Hollywood standards, but there's a story and a plot twist that do make this movie entertaining. It's a bit predictable, but not entirely so. I gave it 6/10 because, while there certainly is room for improvement, this movie is certainly not the stinker it's being made out to be by many of the other reviews here. I watched it on Amazon Prime which, if you like bad movies, is quite the treasure trove for them.
