It was barely a movie at all

This film was almost unwatchable, none of the characters had any redeeming qualities, the writing was threadbare, and there just wasn't much of a story. The movie felt like it was super low budget, and there was nothing about the film to recommend, nor to find engaging.I like low budget films when they're done well, I love Independent films but there has to be some content.

More than expected

I'm not one for watching films that aren't by major production companies. A friend recommended this to me and I'm glad he did! In my humble opinion, this movie was a very fun watch!If you've ever had a moment where you felt down on your luck or desperate in life, you'll find parts of this film that resonate with you, for sure! Im giving this a 10 because as a woman, I can appreciate the directors approach when the main character was put in touchy scenarios we as women hope to never find ourselves in.

Where were the thrills...?

When I sat down here in 2026 to watch the 2024 thriller "Nobody Wants to Shoot a Woman", from writer and director Kerry Ann Enright, I had never even heard about it. Not that it really mattered, since I do believe in giving any movie that I haven't already seen a fair chance. Sure, I virtually had no idea what I was in for here, aside from it being a thriller, so writer and director Kerry Ann Enright had every opportunity to entertain me.The storyline in the movie was a swing and a miss for me. The material that writer Kerry Ann Enright put together here failed to entertain me, and I struggled to sit through the movie in its entire 94 minute runtime.Something that definitely worked in favor of the movie was the fact that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were good, despite the fact that the script failed to entertain me.For a thriller, then "Nobody Wants to Shoot a Woman" failed miserably. There was nothing thrilling in the narrative, and boredom certainly doesn't qualify as being thrilling.My rating of writer and director Kerry Ann Enright's 2024 movie "Nobody Wants to Shoot a Woman" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
