current point is 7.2, but see it as reversed 2.7

I am sure the director-writer brothers will do much better in their next movie. First ones are always like this, you learn it by doing. Most famous succesful directors even hide their real first movies, we never see them or never watched them. There are so several mistakes in the following categories, cinematography, editing, color correction, and lighting. Producer should not be the same person as the director, that's one of the things that movie maker's should avoid. You will have best case scenario a psychological burnout. To be honest actingwise it was interestingly OK. Usually these kind of movies, the acting is a bit the most obvious bad part, but no, for this movie, it think the acting was good, and I am giving the credits for the acting to directors. Well, they directed the actors well. Also, the make up was good, i mean the scare elements' make up, but again since the editing and cinematography was not good the make up also didnt give the intended effect. The messiness of the script could be fixed by a good editor, that is why i dont mention it here. I would love to help and be assistant of the directors in the future projects if they want they can find me. I am sure they will do great job in the future, because they are passionate and brave. Not many people can dare to do this kind of difficult projects in the beginning of their carrier.

Good low budget ghost story

I heard about this movie and decided to give it a watch it as I have a thing for low budget horror movies. Thankfully they did not do all the silly gore attempts but rather focused on the atmosphere and storyline. It is a fun movie that has some honest creepy scares. Not sure why Prime has it rated as 18+ as it is really more of a PG-13 outing. The acting is better than most low budget films of this ilk and the story is original. There are some issues with the script, but I don't want to give away any spoilers, so I won't go into detail. Suffice to say that sometimes you just have to go with it. I have seen bigger issues with films that have much bigger budgets.Overall, I would say this is worth a watch and that the brother team that made it may have a career ahead of them. Kudos to all involved.

Semi-watchable...

With the 2025 movie "Oblivium", from writers and directors Ibrahim Ashmawey and Omar Ashmawey, being a movie that I hadn't already seen, nor ever actually heard about, of course I opted to watch it, given my love of all things horror. This was a low budget attempt at a horror movie, and ultimately not a great one. Now, I've seen far worse low budget movies, but the storyline in this movie, as written by Ibrahim Ashmawey and Omar Ashmawey just wasn't particularly thrilling or entertaining. And that made for a rather dull viewing experience.Generally I am not fond of movies that happen to be written, directed and starring one and the same guy, as it was the case with Ibrahim Ashmawey, whom happened to perform those three tasks.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list, which was something that actually spoke in favor of the movie. The acting performances in the movie were fair.Semi-watchable, if you have nothing else readily available, but hardly an outstanding horror experience. And it is not a movie that I would recommend horror fans to rush out and get to watch. Nor is it a movie that I will return to watch a second time.My rating of writers and directors Ibrahim Ashmawey and Omar Ashmawey's 2025 movie "Oblivium" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
