Such a disappointing movie

"Odata pentru totdeauna" it's a drama starring Smiley, (a very popular romanian singer) and Ada Gales.This movie's theme is depression and how Alex, a popular movie director (played by Smiley) and also the protagonist of the movie deals with thisUnfortunately the movie doesn't really know what it wants to be. This movie doesn't know what it wants to be in the first place. The movie wants to be a comedy, but also a drama. The movie is about depression, but the conflict is solved(somehow, its from depressed to energetic and extraverted again): Alex feels much better. They start some conflict that after like 1/2 of an hour they drop so they go back to him being depressed, even if he was fine. The characthers are also not great either. Despite his acting aptitudes, Smiley was stuck with an inconsistent character. His wife Alma(played by Ada Gales), again :good actress, bad character.And you know what's the worst part? Is that this movie actually has some good stuff: yes! Good actors(surprisingly Smiley dis a great job with his role), good cinematography, and some good scenes. But this isn't enough to make me recommend this to you. I will give this movie a 5/10 because they at least took a risk and wanted to tell a story that isn't necessarily eye catching or in your face. Also for the good acting, good cinematography and nice music.

An offense to cinematography

I gave it two stars only because the movie is NOT about communism, and that in itself is a plus for Romanian cinematography. Otherwise I would have given it 1 star.Simply put, this is a movie about depression written by a guy who doesn't understand the first thing about depression. It's bad to the point that it becomes offensive to people who actually suffer from depression. The dialogue includes a LOT of misinformation regarding mental ilnesses and all in all, it makes no sense.The movie is filled with situations in which the main character has to deal with incompetent doctors and police officers, but these situations do not reflect reality and are actually absurd and ridiculous. It's pure chaos, do not waste your time watching it.
