Stars Ozzy, a likeable , kind dog whose upper-class life has turned upside down when his family goes on Japanese vacation to a comic-book convention . As the Martins leave him on an overlong long and far journey. Unable to bring their intimate Ozzy along for the distant ride , they settle on the next best thing , an over-the-top canine spa called Blue Creek run by a villainous owner who captures and incarcerates dogs . Ozzy will soon end up in a well-secured prison controlled by ominous wardens and he will have the ability to find out the best in himself while facing off hard situations . Ozzy will have to avoid risks by joining his new friends, Chester, Fronky and Doc to getaway the prison and go back home safely . The tale itself is based, almost completely , around dogs providing them human qualities . However , being slightly unsatisfactory both for fans of prison escape sub-genre and for dogs buffs , the latter hoping to watch the most entertaining scenes . It follows in the footsteps of movies which use John Lasseter/Pixar-like quality style . This animated comedy-adventure movie results to be a crossover between classic prison movies as The great escape (1963) by Donald Siegel , The longest year (1974) by Robert Aldrich, and even Victory (1981) by John Huston , taking parts here and there . Although it holds heavily on the barely plausible notion of a squad of dogs escaping from an impregnable prison . It's essentially a story about friendship, comradeship , valor , loyalty , and bravery .It packs exceptional plethora of prestigious Spanish actors giving voice to the protagonists dogs such as : Dani Rovira , José Mota , Michelle Jenner , Carlos Areces , Elsa Pataky and Fernando Tejero . Suspenseful and thrilling musical score by prestigious Fernando Velazquez who has composed important films as ¨Hercules¨, ¨The orphanage¨, ¨70 binladens¨, ¨Submergence¨, ¨The imposible¨, ¨Crimson peak¨, among others . The motion picture was professionally directed by Alberto Rodríguez and Nacho La Casa. And it won several prizes as Cinema Writers Circle Awards, Spain 2017 Winner CEC Award Best Animated Film : Alberto Rodríguez , Gaudí Awards 2017 Winner : Gaudí Award ,Best Animated Feature . More cliche than Ice Age 5

What the heck is this. This movie is so god awful and formulaic. This movie is just a prison escape movie but with dogs. The only time this movie laughed was when I saw the 10 star rating on this web site, the movie is not funny, the mc is a whiny insufferable character.. ; ) You know, you can see the movie inside the scene where they are sneaking into the room. I mean this is good by illumination standards tho. The emotional scenes made me cry of pain. How in the REDACTED did the family believe the warden!? The animation is god awful, and this movie is so bad, it shouldn't even be free, they should pay YOU. The comic relief is unfunny and makes mater sound like a comedian. The only reason this is a 4/10 is because there is worse stuff. The best part of this movie was the credits, which were admittedly cute. Speaking of which the character designs are terrible and what kinda dog wears goggles?
