The stage curtains open ...Oh, look! It's another Shannon "I wish I could act" Tweed movie! Well, at least she looked like she was having fun in this one. I figured since I had already wasted half of my night watching a terrible Tweed movie with "Victim of Desire", I may as well ruin the whole night and watch another one for the perfect double feature. So, I gave this one a go. It did not let me down.Our story starts with a weird embryo creature-thing in a large glass bottle of water (I guess) that brings out the carnal and animalistic desires in people. When an author who has hit writer's block enters an oriental curio shop and purchases it, he takes it home because he's "just gotta have it". Of course, his wife hates the damn thing and wants it gone, but he can't part with it. Soon, everyone starts to lose it as this gross one-eyed fleshy globule emanates its evil aura over everyone in the house, including the sexy secretary. People lose their minds and people die ... if they aren't having sex that is. Yeah, that is THIS movie.I found myself slightly amused with this highly forgettable film. At least it was a little more entertaining than the last one was. The actors did seem to be having some fun with their roles, just cutting loose and letting it all out there. It was fun to see Sandahl Bergman in a more domesticated role after watching her in films like "Conan the Barbarian", "SHE", and "Red Sonja". And like her co-star, Shannon Tweed, she bares all for some bedtime fun.This movie is short, but not so sweet (unless all you are after is a senseless plot that really doesn't go anywhere and a lot of skin). It flew by pretty fast, so pacing gets an "A". But, overall, it is silly and fairly stupid at its core and a complete waste of time. It will get shelved and more than likely forgotten until some day down the road I may revisit this review and say, "Oh, yeah. I think I remember that one."

Avoid This Film, Even If You Like Sandahl

I recently watched "Conan the Barbarian" and was quite sad I didn't know any other films with Sandahl Bergman in it. So I got myself "Hell Comes To Frogtown" and thought that was an extremely goofy and poorly made film, but fun to watch (gotta love the three snakes dance scene).Then I got myself this one, thinking I could not really be disappointed, what with the Hell film and all, and I have to say: this movie offers *all* (!) the entertainment, plot logics, good dialogue, acting skills and high-end production value of a cheap porno, but without the explicit sex scenes. And Sandahl looks better partially dressed (I'm gonna try and remember her in her skimpy barbarian outfit, where you couldn't see the handiwork done on her chest).There is absolutely not the slightest point in *ever* watching this. You will not get back the precious time you lose trying to not be put off by this. Just hands off. This film should never have been made.
