"I could feel the emptiness as soon as we arrived"

The movie seemed like a clumsy hybrid between a supernaturally skilled group fighting the Nazis in America and puppet master elements and it doesn't work at all. Most of the acting is underwhelming if not pathetic but I did like George Appleby as Doctor Ivan Ivanoff and Tonya Kay as Doktor Gerde Ernst though their final confrontation could have been directed better. The film looks decent enough and the music score was bearable. Some of the puppet movement looks better than in the previous two films in the 'Axis' trilogy which was good to see. It's a bit gorier than the other two, which might recommend it to some people. The puppet master saga never improved after 'Puppet Master 3 The Revenge Of Toulon' which is a shame as the concept of killer puppets had so much potential. Turning the puppets from villains into heroes also marred the franchise. You have to admire the Full Moon company for keeping the flow of puppet master movies going all those years but the quality never matched the quantity.

Puppet Master Axis Termination is free on Tubi and the final chapter in the Axis trilogy. The German puppets are ready to fight till the death and finally end the puppets. Little do the Germans know the puppets plan to infiltrate their base and bring their reign of terror down forever. Despite being directed by legendary puppet master director Charles Bamd this movie had a very different feel from the previous Puppet Master films and was very disappointing. I'd actually call this one of the worst 3 Puppet Master films in the series. Overall, this is worth watching for fans of the series but isn't one of the better Puppet Master pictures.
