Fresh!

There are lots of crazy short term performances in this film where the actors put their all into the 1 or 2 minutes they had on screen. Rats! Pulls off feeling like an inside joke between the characters and the writers and keeps you guessing the whole time. The whole thing is well constructed plot-wise. It's not just a joke, but there's payoff in paying attention. Thankfully the characters, sets, special effects, editing, and jokes are unique enough that you'll have no problems sticking through to the end. Saw this with a ton of people at a friend's house and all ages agreed: this is a sleeper hit rn. More people need to write reviews!

This is completely demented and I love it

If you like hyper kinetic ultra stylised films that succeed in creating a world that is at the same time recognisable as it is completely alien to yours then this is the one to watch.I'm talking movies where the protagonist is just trying to survive in a world that is beyond reason and is surrounded by complete chaos. Think Hobo With A Shotgun with a bit of Slacker.A true gem of indie filmmaking that is rare to see but is so unique in it's world building that it leaves an impression that has lasted.Absolutely filthy and blood soaked, it is absurdist in the extreme while still maintaining a heart and humanity. Not exactly a feel good film but certainly not a downer either.Very much a black comedy with elements of satire that make me think that the experience of the main characters mirror in some way the experiences of it's creators. They must of had a blast making this and it shows.Rough around the edges but with the kind of inspired touches that seem one of a kind in a landscape of carbon copies. Enjoy the ride.

To be in film is to be a rat

I wasn't alive during the 90s era of film but based on everyone I've met who has been in show business this movie is a manifestation of the feeling (based on my humble opinion)Wacky with no real story understandable and relatable. That technique you've always wanted to see is being planted in this film and there's nothing you can do about it. Being able to tell a story has evolved so much and what people will accept as reasonable or average has become more than a variable or a spectrum but a singularity in which you can draw from infinitely. Show biz folk would rather grind their ears in a blinder than listen to someone explain something important with bureaucracy or Professionalism. This film takes that and dumps on it in a fashion that the Illuminati could never truly detect. To be an artist is to be a rat!
