Good ol' down and dirty British's dark comedy

Reckless (2026) is the first proper Scott Adkins's flick of 2026 and as a diehard fan, I glad to say that the man still got plenty of surprises in store for us. A really different flavor of Adkins than what people usually expect from him for sure. Definitely gotta cause noise for the wrong reason but it is for what it is.

A fair enough movie...

While I had actually never heard about this 2026 movie titled "Reckless", I needed no persuasion to watch it. Why? Well, first of all, it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, nor actually heard about. Secondly, I do believe in giving all movies a fair chance. Thirdly, it has Scott Adkins on the cast list.The storyline in "Reckless" was okay. Writers Matthew Robert Kelly and Stu Small had put together a fair enough script. It certainly was watchable, but it was by no means an outstanding or memorable movie experience.I was only familiar with Scott Adkins and Vinnie Jones on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were good.It was a bit of a surprise to see that there was so shockingly little action sequences. But the ones that were in the movie, were fair.My rating of director Elliott Montello's 2026 movie "Reckless" lands on a five out of ten stars.
