Roller coaster of a film

The Renovation concept is an odd but interesting one and if done well I could see it working. However it isn't done well at the start, we see it set up in a cheesy and sort of unimaginative way. The dialogue towards the middle end really boosted the film and made it seem more real when the two presenters talked about their future and not working, instead of making it a happy ever after story, a dose of realism always helps. But then it went back to being a cheesy type film. Not the strongest.

I don't know what happened in this movie. Was it chemistry or the directing but,,, Jessica Lowndes acting is terrible. I have seen her in other movies doing a good enough job, but this, was atrocious. Don't get me wrong, she seems like a nice person, she has eyes that I can't get enough. She has a beautiful smile and comes off as genuine, but this movie is just not working for her and she is in every scene.It's a but disappointing.Note for the people that put this movie together,,, Can we relax with the Botox?We have ladies on screen in their 40's with glistening foreheads. It's distracting.
