A must see documentary!

Treaty Day Film Festival, Resident Orca. I've never cried so hard during a film. We have all heard her story. Watched news segments, seen social media posts about Lolita, Tokitae, Toki, Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut. But this film goes deeper than anything I had read or watched about the stolen resident orcas. I'm honored to have been able to see this film, and listen in person to those who tried so hard to rescue Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut speak about their journey of fighting to bring her back home to Salish waters.50 years of trauma. Being so close to returning home where her mother Ocean Sun is still alive at 100 years old, and is the matriarch of the L pod.On November 3rd 2024 for the first time since the horrific capture event Lpod returned to Penn Cove WA.?Sk'aliCh'elh-tenaut?
