Plot summary

An estranged mother/daughter country music duo reunite after 10 years apart to release a Christmas single after a video of them goes viral. Now, they’re going to need a lot of forgiveness and a little Christmas magic to write a song that perfectly captures the spirit of Christmas and brings their family back together.

Didn't interest me enough.

A Christmas Comeback (Rock And Roll Christmas) (2019) -I've never been a fan of either of the leading ladies - Beverley Marshall & Catherine Mary Stewart and these country music films are all very samey and for the most part, quite obnoxious. The singers are never nice people to start with and I always find it a struggle to want them to do well or find love.It didn't help that I wasn't really very impressed with the love interest, Smith. He just didn't have any presence.I couldn't watch the same bickering nonsense for the whole hour and a half, so I gave up after 20 minutes.Unscored as Unfinished.

I deliberately watch this crap

Because I enjoy the whole cringe secondhand embarrassment effect that these kinds of movies bring. It was okay. It was just so hard to watch. The acting, the story, the characters. If I lived in a world with people like this, I might have to jump in front of a train. But it was entertaining. Which was my point, kind of like watching a Ron Popiel infomercial in the middle of the night with the "set it and forget it" audience ooooh's and ahhhhh's haha paid programming. Used to make me want to kick my tv in a good way. These movies are just always cringe and unrealistic which is great when that's what you're going for, otherwise I don't see why anyone would bother since they are so bad!
