Wholesome and fun

Us girls have probably read a dozen romance novels with this same basic premise, and there's a reason why it's so popular: it's fun! What broken-hearted young lady wouldn't want to escape to a new environment, appreciate nature on a beautiful country farm, and get swept off her feet by two hunky cowboys? It's straight out of fantasyland. We want a man who can diagnose our car trouble just by looking at it, teach us how to ride a horse, and provide romance under the stars. We want in-laws who welcome us with open arms. We want our fella to love children so we can settle down and start procreating, and if he already has a daughter, that shows he's a softie. We want him to be gentle, but rugged and manly.And this is why we go to the movies.All kidding aside, if you like that type of story, check out this romantic flick. Newcomer to the screen Suzanne Periera is lovely and sweet, and it's no wonder the cutie pie brothers, Chris Reid and Brando White, are both taken with her. Zoey Giovanna steals the show, with her natural cuteness and spunk. I look forward to seeing her career unfold through the years!If there's one word to describe Romance on the Ranch, it's wholesome. Some might call it corny, but I find it refreshing. We need more wholesome movies these days. We need good examples of how to behave, to inspire us to do the right thing, forgive, be honest, and put others first. These "Hallmark" types always display loving families and promote a respect-one's-elders hierarchy. Again, it's refreshing. Instead of kids disrespecting their out-of-touch parents, it's a good example to show young people taking sage advice from an older figure. In this movie, Jill Adler advises Suzanne that she has one heart to give, not to split. Veteran character actor Walter Platz is the boys' father but also a mentor, since he's lived, seen, and has the right to give advice when they need it. All in all, this is a fun, honest, family friendly flick - especially for us young ladies who want to live through Suzanne!

Romance on the Ranch

The dead Dad in the photo was an excellent actor and should have been in the credits! This was a classic Hallmark style movie and is perfect for people who enjoy that style. If not, then maybe it's not for you, but I thought it was fun, cheesy, and enjoyable. Again, the actor who was the Dad was top tier and really should have been mentioned in the credits, especially since some random background actor who had barely any screen time were mentioned. Any way, it was an overall good movie and perfect for people who love a sappy romance with happy endings and funny dialogue. What a great movie and great dead Dad!

It was okay.....

Unfortunately the main actress let the movie down. Her acting was immature and she was clearly overwhelmed and totally too self aware.The 2 brothers did a great job keeping the movie interesting and they added some depth. And of course they are both a sight for sore eyes. The father also did well as the patriarch of the family.The star of the movie is Aiden's daughter Samantha. She is a delight to watch and is clearly a natural born actress.The story line is a bit thin which is why the quality of the acting had to be great to make it worth while.Sadly the awkward nose-blowing sounds the main actress was constantly making was very off putting.The only reason I could endure to the end was because of the 2 brothers. If not for them I would rate it a 5.
