Needless to say that I had, of course, never even heard about this 20255 thriller titled "Room 4A" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2026. And since it was a movie that I had neither seen nor heard about, of course I had to check it out. I do believe in giving all movies a fair chance, after all.Writer Robert L. Parker III put together a sort of semi-adequate script. It was on the simplistic side, but also somewhat bland and monotonous. The pacing in the movie served as an anchor holding it back.Something that worked in favor of "Room 4A" was the fact that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were adequate, but nothing outstanding to write home about.Hardly a noteworthy thriller, and not one that I would recommend thriller fans to rush out and get to watch. And most definitely not a movie that I will pick up and watch a second time.My rating of writer and director Robert L. Parker III's 2025 thriller "Room 4A" lands on a very generous three out of ten stars.
