Above expectations

It's predictable, it's unoriginal, but damn if it didn't hook me in. Actually one of the better movies I've watched where you don't have to invest or care too much. The main actress and the guy playing Lowell just blew me away - great acting can save a mediocre plot. Worth a watch for sure!

Wrong Creek - I mean turn

I guess same difference. Sometimes when we get lost or take a road that we didn't want to take ... well it leads to opportunities. In this case and with this being a thriller (dare I say horror? Depending on how you define it I reckon), you kind of know that is not exactly what is going to happen.It is not that the movie makes a secret of where it is heading (no pun intended). And the main actress really draws us into the movie - a really fine performance by her and the other people involved. Not just considering the genre, but that too I guess. There are some twists and turns I did not see coming (again sorry for the puns), but I was not overthinking it while I was watching it, so there is that.
