The film revolves around the complicated relationship between Doumeki, his stoic bodyguard, and Yashiro, a masochistic crime lord, which develops with psychological tension and agonizing restraint. The animation's subtle yet compelling visuals reflect the characters' inner wounds and the story's depressing tone. Even while its slow pacing and mature subjects might turn off some viewers, the film presents a moving character study that stays with you long after the credits have rolled. It's a subtle but impactful addition to the BL genre that doesn't romanticize sorrow but instead faces it head-on.

So beautifully animated and in good taste. If the viewers are not familiar with the manga, then, be aware that it is an adult animation which features very mature subjects -of the psychological kind-, giving an insight of the MC's behavior of certain preferences in his "amorous/casual" rendez-vous.
