I truly tried.

I didn't want to hate this.. but all she does is make sex noises and act like an insane person . I kept waiting and waiting for her to make actual jokes or do something that wasn't just weird noises .. I like her on SNL.. But this is hands down the dumbest thing I have ever watched. And it was the biggest waste of an hour. So so so so so so so stupid.

Squirm Persona

TL:DR If you don't like gross out humor then go ahead and skip this special.I love Sarah Sherman. Though I didn't know what to expect I know I've liked everything I've seen of her. Sarah being able to fully express her artistic nature and wacky weirdness (affectionate) was great to see. It certainly won't be for everyone, but if you're a lil freak I think you'll enjoy it. The stage invokes a kid tv show set up juxtaposed by the adult topics and guts.As others have said this is more or a surreal experience rather than a stand up comedy show.

Stick to SNL-this was unwatchable

I'm a big fan of Sarah on SNL; she is easily one of the funniest cast members right now. However, I had to turn this off after just a few minutes. I was hoping for the clever weirdness she brings to television, but this was just non-stop bathroom humor.It's really disappointing to see such a talented comedian rely on "working blue" and cheap shock value (piss and poop jokes) rather than actual writing. She is too good for this material. If you like her sketches on TV, be warned: this is completely different, and not in a good way.
