It's bad...real bad

I didn't have high expectations for this creature feature. Thankfully, because this movie is bad. It is an overly generic B movie. The plot is simplistic at best and as typical for low budget creature features, it is full of holes. The acting is horrible and the script is no better. The CGI shark looks unrealistic in every scene. So, if you are a glutton for punishment for bad movies, give it a watch, otherwise, save your time for something else.

Swim far, far away

Shark Warning might be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It takes place in a town with a lake, and somehow sharks show up-no real explanation beyond a dam, and there's no ocean in sight.Then there's the so-called "shark expert" character-because apparently, in this lakeside nowhere, we have someone randomly qualified to explain shark behavior without any backstory or logic. Meanwhile, British flags are awkwardly plastered on a bridge like someone got confused mid-set design.The acting ranges from stiff to straight-up confused, as if even the cast couldn't believe the lines they were being asked to deliver. It's less than mediocre, more like community theater meets last-minute student film.In short, if you're looking for a suspenseful shark flick... swim far, far away from this one.

Watchable, but generic...

I had been looking forwarding to getting to watch this 2024 shark movie titled "Shark Warning" ever since seeing the poster for it some time last year I guess it was.So was the wait worth it? Well, no, not really. Now, don't get me wrong here, because "Shark Warning" is not a bad movie. It was, however, a rather generic and stereotypical shark movie. Writer Ryan Ebert opted to play it safe and incorporate every trope included in the how-to-write-a-shark-movie handbook, and thus it was a rather formulaic movie, for better or worse. Sure, I was still entertained, as it was a shark movie, after all, but it just wasn't an outstanding movie experience.The acting in the movie were good. The only face on the screen that I was familiar with was actor David Chokachi.Visually then "Shark Warning" was okay. It wasn't jaw-droppingly impressive special effects, but they were suitable for a shark movie, no doubt about that.Watchable, fore sure, especially if you enjoy shark movies. And it wasn't in the lower end of the scale of shark movies.My rating of director Jimmy Gadd's 2024 movie "Shark Warning" lands on a five out of ten stars.
