Plot summary

After an abandoned 400-year-old ship appears off the coast of a small town, Historian Elena and the local coastguard go to investigate. They discover it is not abandoned and the ship's cursed crew have horrific plans for the intruders.

"Good potential bad direction."

A plot revolving around cannibalistic pirates it's sounds original and the DVD cover looked great and caught my eye. But unfortunately it's direction is very bad the pirates look awful this would of been cooler if they were looked more zombie like, dead looking and added some make-up considering they've been on the ship for centuries. It's not all bad though some of the characters are interesting like Elena, Michael and the captain the rest of the actors are terrible deliberately putting on a deep pirate voice. One pirate makes weird growling noises it's like they were thinking about making pirate zombies but decided not to the last minute but kept the scenes in anyway like I said it would have been a far much better direction to head for. The only satisfying part this movie had was when a girl got stabbed in the mouth that was pretty cool I wouldn't watch this movie it's not worth your time and it's not very good either.

Fanfic?

This honestly felt like someone's self-insert Pirates of the Caribbean fanfic. It seemed like Elena was into not-Barbosa and was down to... Well you know what I mean. I have no idea how the cannibalism ties into this Wattpad theory (or Michael tbh) but for a section of this movie, we were convinced that it was about to turn into p0rn or something.I have no idea what the other woman was about. She seemed to have like no role other than to hiss and be killed. She shouldn't have been there.And the ending made no sense either. If she was cursed to want meat then she couldn't escape the skip and would've had to have eaten the meat but it never showed that. Nonsense.They should've just made it into the fanfic romance it was always intended to be.

Don't call me Ellie

The film opens in 1622 off the coast of Cartegena. A hungry crew kills and eats a witch and consumes her resulting in a curse. In modern times said ship is dragged into port. The story picks up with Elena (Hannaj Bang Bendz) who is an expert on such ships. She gets a call from her ex-boyfriend who is with the coast guard and asks her if she might be interested in checking it out. She jumps at the chance. While the two are on board they are captured by the 400-year-old cursed crew and sail back out to sea. Elena discovers the Pirate cannibals want to use her for breeding material in hopes of breaking the curse.I like the story better when they are hillbillies and folks take a Wrong Turn. The film started out fine but once on board, I lost interest with boring pirates.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
