Plot summary

Adnan and Hicran are happily married however when their son die as a result of a mysterious accident Adanan becomes distant from his wife. Hicran starts investigating her past to see how it could connect to the death of her son.

Quite good...

I had actually stumbled upon several of the movies in the "Siccin" franchise once before, but opted not to watch them back then. But that was to change here in 2025, as I had the opportunity to watch some of them, but sadly not all of them.While I have not watched the 2014 first movie in the franchise, named "Siccin", I have no idea if this 2015 sequel is connected to the first movie or not. I assume so, since the intro sequence for "Siccin 2" displayed a lot of glimpses of things that were not in the sequel, so I assume that was from the first movie. And I don't know if I would have understood "Siccin 2" more and enjoyed it more, had I watched the 2014 movie "Siccin" first.Regardless, I had the opportunity to watch "Siccin 2" and opted to do so, since it was a horror movie that I hadn't already seen. And I do believe that this is my first exposure to Turkish cinema.Writers Alper Mestçi and Ersan Özer put together a script that proved rather enjoyable and entertaining. It certainly was a movie that I found to be good, and it was a narrative that had enough of traditional horror elements to it, as well as a narrative that wasn't overly predictable.Given this being my first exposure to Turkish cinema, of course I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. But I really must say that the acting performances in the movie were good.Something that definitely impressed me about "Siccin 2" was the special effects. The special effects looked really good in the movie, and added a lot of flavor and atmosphere to the overall movie.If you enjoy horror movies, and don't mind non-English movies, then "Siccin 2" is certainly a movie that is well-worth watching.My rating of director Alper Mestçi's 2015 movie "Siccin 2" lands on a well-deserved six out of ten stars.

don't close your Eyes !!

I've watched most of Hollywood horror movies (The good ones actually) , Asian horrors and some Turkish Horror. I'd like to say I still think of a scene I've seen in this movie and scare myself by the thought of it at nights, the one where those three women in chador walk around in her house after killing her son. Oh I was very touched by this movie. I loved it and I guess some people who have some bad mentality about such cultures would have. Anyways, middle eastern would like it probably cuz its all about those dark vibes about superstitions and jinn.It's a brilliant movie with mind blowing special effects , sound and music.Very imaginative and alot better than all the Hollywood predictable horrible horror movies.
